Hi folks,

It’s been a while. Many apologies. I’ve been in the midst of making some live changing decisions. and I am making sure that I act upon them. This has been a very interesting summer. I was laid off from my job, and instead of pissing and moaning about it, I decided to focus on working on improving myself.

I’ve taken the first few steps to making the improvements. I’ve decided that in order to improve my situation that it’s important to improve myself. The first step was to apply to College for admission into their 2nd BA program. Check - That part’s done.

Then came the first difficult part. Waiting for a response. I’m not good at that. But I stuck it out without having a mental breakdown. Which was a good thing, because just as I was about to give up hope, I received my letter of acceptance. Check - Done.

The next hurdle is to find a way to fund my education. Apparently there is very little aid for students persuing a second BA. (this emphasizes the point maintaining a B or better average in college, if I had done better that the B- average that I kept, then this second degree would have been unnecessary, and I could have applied straight to Graduate School). What’s that you ask??? What am I going to study this time??? I’m going to study Seconday Education with a concentration in History so that I can teach Social Studies to Middle School and High School Students.
